Terms and Conditions - Food Design Playground

1. General
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all events, workshops, tastings, exhibitions and other activities that take place at Food Design Playground, located in Dordrecht.
1.2 By participating in an activity or renting (part of) the space, the participant/client declares to agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Application and payment
2.1 Participation in activities is through registration and prior payment via the website or billing.
2.2 A reservation is not final until payment is received.
2.3 Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellation by participant
3.1 Cancellation up to 14 days before the event is free of charge.
3.2 Cancellation within 14 to 7 days before the event will incur a 50% fee.
3.3 Cancellation within 7 days before the event or no-show will incur a full fee.
3.4 You may always have someone else participate in your place.
4. Cancellation or modification by Food Design Playground.
4.1 Food Design Playground reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an activity in the event of insufficient participants, force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances.
4.2 In such cases, a full refund will be given, or the participant may choose an alternative date (if available).
5. Liability
5.1 Participation in activities is at your own risk.
5.2 Food Design Playground is not liable for loss, theft or damage to participants' personal property.
5.3 In the event of damage to the building, materials or art objects caused by the participant, compensation may be claimed.
6. Food and dietary requirements
6.1 We will take dietary requirements and allergies into account as much as possible if they are communicated in writing in good time (at least 5 days in advance).
6.2 Participants with severe allergies are responsible for taking appropriate precautions.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 All content, concepts and formats developed by Food Design Playground remain the property of the organization.
7.2 It is not permitted to copy, reproduce or commercially use (parts of) the experience without prior written permission.
8. Space rental
8.1 It is possible to rent (parts of) the location for meetings, sessions or events. This is subject to separate conditions and rates available upon request.
8.2 The lessee is responsible for leaving the space tidy and complying with the house rules.
9. Photography and media
9.1 You may take photos during most activities, provided that this does not disturb other participants.
9.2 At some special events (such as performances or concerts) you may be explicitly asked not to take photos or recordings. This will then be clearly communicated.
9.3 By participating, you give permission to possibly appear on screen in atmospheric impressions, unless you make this known at the start of the event.
10. Pets
10.1 Pets are not allowed inside Food Design Playground.
10.2 Exceptions are made for officially recognized assistance dogs, such as guide dogs for the blind.
11. Privacy
11.1 We respect your privacy. Data will only be used for communication around the booked activity and will never be shared with third parties without permission.
12. Applicable law
12.1 Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions.
12.2 Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the district of Dordrecht.
