Been there, done that - FART FEST
After a sold-out debut and two editions full of allure and depth, BEAN THERE (done that) wraps up with a winter edition that hits closer to home.
FART FEST explores what happens after a meal—fermentation, transformation, and the invisible processes that shape how we feel, think, and even behave. Here, beans are no longer an ingredient, but a reaction—something that moves, bubbles, and sometimes causes a bit of discomfort.
Head down to the basement of Food Design Playground for dinners and performances that take the body seriously—without making it feel heavy. You’ll sample fermented foods, learn to work with local beans, and discover how flavor, time, and bacteria come together to tell a different story. We laugh at things that are usually embarrassing, and that’s exactly what creates space for something else: understanding, recognition, maybe even appreciation.
This edition isn't about eating properly.
It's about what food does to you.
Funnily enough, this might just be the most honest edition of them all.
Because, in the end, your body always has the final say.
For those who dare to feel what is really happening.
